Ryane Acalin is a visual artist based in Los Angeles. She works in mixed media, pencil, and ink to produce portraiture, graphic novels, and large scale drawings about ghosts, symbiosis, and inherited memory. Her work has been exhibited at galleries, universities, and in private and corporate collections. She is the artist and co-creator of the graphic novel Cinder’s Kingdom and the illustrator for the award winning anthology The World is Just a Book Away published by USC Libraries Press. She received her BA from UC Berkeley.
